CMS Training: Events
Transcript
The final thing you have access to in your CMS is the Events calendar.
You can create different calendars – for instance you might create a payday calendar, a paid holidays calendar, or a Company All-Hands calendar. This allows employees to easily filter their calendar view for the events they are looking for.
Once you create your various calendars, you can go into those folders and add individual events.
Again, click the red plus button and enter the fields in the contact card.
You have the ability to enter a title, the date and time, notes—which can include links to a meeting invite, for instance—you can show it in the news feed and even mark it as an all day event.
And as always, you can select the groups that can see the event.
The user experience is then just like any other calendar app. They can view events, add them to their calendar, and join via the event in the app if you include the event link.
