Sometimes users of your app may need assistance with resetting their passwords. In addition to our helpdesk, app administrators have the ability to reset passwords.

Please note: if your app uses SSO for logging into your app, you will not be able to use this password reset tool. For SSO users, please contact your IT or HR department for help with password resets.

To reset an end user’s password, you need to:

Log into the web app and go to the CMS.

Click on the search bar at the top of the page and type in the user’s ID or email address to find them.

Click on the user from the dropdown. And when the user info page opens, click on the blue reset button on the top right of the window. This will open the password reset tool so you can assign the user a temporary password. When the user uses this password to login, they will be prompted to update the password to one of their choosing.

To change the password, you can either use the default password that is automatically generated, or you can choose to enter a custom password.

If you choose to create a custom password, we suggest that you follow our current guide when setting up a temporary password

Once you’ve decided on the password you then need to click on the green reset password button on the bottom middle of the password reset screen.

And that’s it! Once this has been completed, contact the user to send them their new temporary password and they will be able to jump right back into theEMPLOYEEapp!
