How to Send SMS Texts
Once you’ve enabled SMS messaging on your profile, you can start sending out messages through your alert section in your Content Management System (CMS). If you haven’t enabled SMS within your CMS yet, please view this step-by-step guide first.
To send text messages, follow these steps:
Step 1: Login to your Intranet application on your desktop computer.
Step 2: Go to “Content Management”. You can do this by clicking on the “Crown Icon” in the upper right corner of your News Feed.
Step 3: Click on “Alerts” in the left-hand navigation of your CMS.
Step 4: Click on the red plus button in the lower right-hand side of your CMS. This will open the content card for sending SMS texts.
Step 5: Fill out the Alert Content Card by adding your message, choosing the groups to send the message to, and selecting “SMS” as the way to send out the alert.
- NOTE: Clients who also use our app and intranet will also have the ability to send Broadcast Alerts from this window.
Step 6: Hit “Send” to send your SMS text message!
